On 20 September 2026, Major General Md. Mahbub-ul-Alam, BSP, NDC, AFWC, PSC, MPhil, PhD, Vice Chancellor of the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP), visited Army Medical College Rangpur (AMCR).

During the visit, the Vice Chancellor inspected the overall activities of the college and exchanged views with the concerned officials. He appreciated the discipline, academic activities, and overall management of the institution. He also provided valuable guidance and suggestions for the further development and progress of the college.

The Vice Chancellor’s visit was regarded as an important and encouraging occasion for the college and is expected to contribute significantly to further strengthening the academic and institutional activities of AMCR.
