Army Medical College Rangpur (AMCR) solemnly observed Language Martyrs’ Day on 21 February 2026, paying heartfelt tribute to the brave heroes who sacrificed their lives for the mother tongue.
The program commenced with the half-mast hoisting of the national flag, symbolizing deep respect and remembrance. This was followed by speeches highlighting patriotism, the historic significance of the Language Movement, and the enduring spirit of national unity. A special prayer was offered for the peace, prosperity, and continued progress of Bangladesh.
The CEO, faculty members, officers, staff, and students actively participated in the observance, reaffirming their unwavering commitment to upholding the values of the Language Movement and contributing to the nation’s development and solidarity.
